During our recent family trip to Tromsø, we stayed at the Backpack, and it turned out to be a pleasant experience for all of us. The location was easy to reach from the airport with a convenient bus, although we did get turned around for a bit. The warm welcome from the staff made us feel at home right away. One of the highlights was the shared kitchen, which was perfect for preparing meals. My kids loved the free waffles, and we enjoyed them with Norway's famous brown cheese and jam-definitely a fun breakfast adventure! We took advantage of the close proximity to outdoor activities, spending some time skiing and snowboarding, while also leaving luggage at the hostel for the day. The shared bathrooms were clean and rarely a hassle, which made our stay more comfortable. Backpack provided a solid family-friendly atmosphere we appreciated. If you're looking for a place to enjoy family adventures in a welcoming environment, this could be a good option.
